Spiderqueens o_o

Got 2 of those ugly things in one day in less than an hour






Not sure whats that thing doing in Misty..

The spiders where in MistyMarsh a long time ago when the game first started. I was leveling up there when I ran into one and almost got myself killed. So I would say that was around October or November 2006 when those spiders where in MM. The spiders got moved to Island because ALLOT of noobs complained about the high pot players camping that spot. So the noobs would get their collective butts handed to them there if they touched the spiders. Also on a side note, there was a rule that you couldn't use windbeads on the spiders, only single FC, CC, or single one on one spider spells. Otherwise again, butt handed to you. Heh

Oh i remember those rules lol. Still existed when i started playing last august. I kept getting killed at DM spider spawn and i had no clue why haha.

nice SS I don't know if that rule applies anymore since I hardly see anyone around the spider spawns anymore when I go over there. It's usually empty.

Yea, people dont much bother hunting for spiders anymore since the prices for FC, CC and othes stuff have dropped drastically

yep I just try and see if Resurgence would pop out of one after I kill it. But all I get is a little bit of gold.

I actually got a Resurgence book out of the spider on the last SS lol

Yeah that was the Queen lol. Been long time since ive gotten something good from a normal one.

Hmmmm.... As far as I know I still see spiderqueens at random areas in Misty / Island / DarkMarsh.... someone actually killed on in Gobi too.... so maybe they just randomly appear wherever they feel like it. lmfao

I've got 3 invisi books and 2 resurgence books in the past week.. from normal spiders. Never had to mess with a queen. Though I have heard of them poppin up in strange places every now and again.

Is there a trick to killing the spiders like you do bosses to be able to get them to drop a book?
I get nothing from them but gold.

Hmmm, none that I know of. They just drop something sometimes lol. What ive noticed tho, is that if a normal spider drops a skill book, then SpiderQueen usually also appears within half an hour after the drop. And if not in the spider spawn, then in the second spot i killed the queen at, that you can see on my first SS. At least thats how it is in DM.

what are those red dots on your map on last SS? some kind of a boss cheat?

no they are just map pimples conveniently placed at boss spawns =)

I have those same red spots too on my screen. i spilled Kool-Aid, nothing more.

working a lil on them minimap pic files can do wonders =P but yea ive had it like that so long most of them spawn markings are out of date, so heh, im too lazy to update my maps, its easier to just remember them
